The newest song added to my collection is called "A Guitar in My Hand" and you can listen here. I was just strumming my guitar a few days ago and hummed a melody, then jotted down some words and started producing a song that I thought a man should sing and when I added the female vocal, oh my, it turned into a lovely ballad with a bluegrass, pop and jazz feel. It's basically a story of how I have lived my musical life. Easy going, strumming my six string with very few cares.

Over the last 50 years I have written over 100 songs. I have sang many of these songs to family and friends through the years, performed them with bands and just left them on the shelves. They are somewhat my children as they are original works of art that I created in my head. Recently, I discovered an AI Music Maker and those songs have come to life. If nothing more comes to this next phase of my musical life, I have fulfilled the dream of hearing my music with full accompaniment. In most cases, I can hear them as I thought they might sound on the radio. This journey has become so much fun for me and I have found the itch to write again so I am writing a lot of new material. My tastes range from folk to rock, pop to country, jazz to R&B. So you may select a song with a soulful vibe or something else with a Lightfoot vibe. I also love to tell stories with my music. Many things are made up like the 3 part story of outlaws in the west who stole from Silverton, Colorado, hid that gold in the caves of Gunneson Gap and then one hundred years later some hikers run across the gold in the songs, "Silverton's Gold, "The Ballad of Gunneson Gap" and "Echoes From the Gap". These songs feature make believe stories with real life western heroes and outlaws like Morgan Earp, Harry Tracy and Butch Cassidy. They are available on the published albums. Give them a listen. Or maybe it's the story of a group of seafaring ships that sank in the Gulf of Mexico in a song called "Tesoro". The album, "Tales From the Trails" features 10 songs that tell stories. Let me know what you think of any of this music.
